IPSO are proud to announce that they are now a scouting educating supplier to Rangers Football Club.
We are thrilled to share this exciting news with you all. IPSO has recently teamed up with the iconic Rangers Football Club for an unforgettable experience at the legendary Ibrox Stadium. It’s not every day you get to work with a club as successful and rich in history as Rangers FC with the opportunity of providing our workshop and courses to their valued academy scouts, for the overall purpose of scouting education.
Phil Cowen, Head of Talent ID, Academy commented ‘We are delighted to work with IPSO and collaborate on providing scouting education to our academy scouts. IPSO, through Colin Chambers (IPSO Education Director) introduced themselves via a presentation at Ibrox Stadium and will now follow up with online workshops & courses, that we will continue to promote.’

Education director of IPSO Colin Chambers had this to say ” What a great experience going to Rangers and showcasing to their scouts and analysts. It’s good that Phil and Rangers have recognized the work that we do as we really can help with our thought provoking ways and procedures. This is great for IPSO and to collaborate with a club the size of Rangers is very exciting for us. We have many areas where we could help the club with our education program from youth players to senior first team scouts as we have something for everyone. We are looking forward for engagements in the future”.
Our showcase delved deep into player and tactical analysis, discussing player profiles, team tactics, and how to analyse players to suit a club’s philosophy. Like chess, football is a strategy game as we were revealed the moves that will keep the recruitment team ahead of the game. During the presentation, we also discussed the power of data analysis, showing how numbers and statistics can be useful for recruitment decisions and evaluating player performance. That’s not all! Video analysis was another key topic we touched on, showing how cutting-edge technology can give you a different perspective on player and team performance. And let’s not forget modern scouting methods. We explored the ever-evolving world of scouting techniques, including video and data analysis. It’s all about staying ahead of the curve.
