job at santos in brazil
Felipe Tricate Sader
About 2 years ago, I’ve made the biggest change in my life and moved to England to pursue my dream of studying and working with football. Thankfully, I can say that it was totally worth it.
”Thank you IPSO for all your support and teaching” said Felipe Tricate Sader Scout at Santos FC Brazil.
I’m now doing what I truly love and I’ve always dreamed about since the beginning of 2020: I am now a first team scout from one the biggest teams in Brazil Santos.
In order to be fully ready for this new challenge, I’ve decided to take the Level 1 Course in Football Scouting from IPSO back in Manchester in September 2019. Besides the great theoretical content, this course helped me to understand more about the live scouting experience.
Something completely new to me, since I was previously working inside an office for the past 5 years. The expertise from the teachers and the amazing interaction within the class were vital for me to extract everything I could from this 2-day live course.
IPSO definitely helped me to achieve my biggest professional goal.

“After learning about scouting and analysis in my country, I decided to take a step forward and enrolled in the IPSO level 2 course. In Portugal I was amazed by the high level of information and the excellent tools that we were given. What I learned in just a few days is information that has accumulated in many years of experience by lecturers who simply reveal all their secrets. There is no doubt that the tools I acquired in my studies at IPSO have contributed to the position I wanted so much and there is no day in my work that I don’t use the tools and knowledge I have acquired.”

LEE HACKET
Lee Hackett, a participant of both our courses of Level 1 and Level 2, was hired as a scout at Dagenham & Redbridge FC. Congratulations!
‘‘I have always enjoyed football since as long as I can remember. I heard about IPSO through a mutual friend and decided to go onto the IPSO course. I always wanted to be a football coach until I went on this course, It was then I changed my mind and I am now more interested in scouting and analysis.
Throughout both Level 1 and Level 2 courses I learnt a wide range of football knowledge that I never had before, such as, looking at a player from a different perspective and assessing a players attributes clearer, noticing different abilities in players that are more suited to different shapes and formations thus making your analysis and opinion more accurate. Match reporting of how a team attacks and defends. The good thing about the course is that it isn’t just for scouting, it’s also beneficial for football managers and coaches at any level. Because of IPSO I now scout for Dagenham and Redbridge 1st team.
I would like to thank the IPSO team for their time and effort in helping me become a professional scout.’’
Thanks IPSO. Lee Hackett
