The course is a look into young football players’ development from their youth at the grassroots level to pro-academies up to under 23 football. It is developed by Premier League Scouts and Heads of Recruitment touching on all aspects when looking at young players in a more accurate and detailed calculation of the player. Perfect for analysts or agents as not everything can be seen with statistics as you will need these observation skills when looking at videos or live games to see clearly what the player’s potential is.
The course will delve into key areas vitally important to football scouting & analysis at Youth level. It explores sophisticated scouting strategies and procedures that will improve any coach, scout, analyst, manager or technical director. It’s also a massive help for football agents in their evaluation of a young player they may be interested in.
From a coach’s point of view, they will gain clearer observation skills to help their players and their progress in their development. It shows you how to make justified, evidence-based decisions when improving or recruiting players to your club. It will also show the most effective ways to manage any young player’s development.
This course helps students especially coaches improve their analysis of young players with a more accurate outlook, therefore affecting their coaching procedures when coaching any young players. By assessing a player quicker you coach the player quicker meeting the player’s individual needs with a more professional result.
This also helps parents or agents understand the player’s needs when assessing their young player with the attention-to-detail process that we deliver. The program will allow you to share knowledge and experiences with other scouts and explore how world-leading clubs and academies operate.

Great for networking and building your contacts. It will also show you how world-leading football clubs operate when working within the Youth-team environment in recruitment.
You will be shown new techniques and procedures throughout the course, you will also take part in tasks and assessments assisted by industry experts from the premier league and international football.
You will meet new contacts from around the world who may be able to help you in other areas like contacting teams, players or agents. You will be able to sit and work out why we observe certain situations one way and then another slightly differently. Lot’s more tips and antidotes to improve your understanding of Youth scouting which will improve your game knowledge and football intelligence at the same time.
We look to share everyone’s contacts on the course with each other so your contacts grow within the game (very Important). If you don’t want your contacts shared with the rest of the group then no problem we won’t.

FRIDAY NIGHT: 18-00 pm to 22-00 pm (4 Hours)
SATURDAY MORNING: 09-00 am to 13-00 pm (4 Hours)
SUNDAY: 09-00 am to approx 16-30 pm other dates can be provided, please check each course individually. (8 Hours)

OVER THE 3 DAYS:
You will explore the role of an academy scout, reflecting on your current working practices in terms of scouting and analysis, and be fully supported by the IPSO tutors. There is an exam at the end of this course, as with IPSO we don’t give away our course certificates you have to earn them.
You will get 15 questions of areas we have covered within the course.
You must get 10 out of 15 correct to pass. Very straight forward and simple if you have taken on board all the knowledge delivered to you in the tips & antidotes when assessing young players. Then you watch a small 30 minute game of a young player were you write up a report on him all explained on the course.

You may be required to receive video links for the course on occasions where you look at the clip through a separate window with other students in tasks then jump back to the course under instructions from the tutor.
