IPSO in Partnership with Romania Football Federation

IPSO Tutors Steve Martin and Colin Chambers were back teaching our Level 3 Talent Identification Course Live to the coaches, scout’s, analysts and technical directors at the Romanian Football Federation’s headquarter’s in Bucharest.

Steve Martin one of the IPSO tutors who works for Burnley FC thoroughly enjoyed his first experience at the Romanian RFR headquarters saying ”What a great set up and probably the best room I’ve seen with their auditorium for delivering courses and workshops like ours. Nothing was too much trouble and the professionalism of the Romanian FA stood out for all to see, a great experience and it looks like a bright future for Romanian football”

IPSO continues the scouting development with the Romanian Football Federation (FRF) after they kindly invited us back to deliver the fantastic Level 3 Course Grassroots to Pro-Academy Under 23’s – Talent Identification. A key skill for any football professional with growing significance in Grassroots and Youth Player Development.

Over the duration of the week we were joined by 45 students from the Federation from players to analysts, scouts, coaches, technical directors and many other participants from big clubs in Romania and other organisations resulting in a healthy mix of football professionals, not forgetting new beginners starting their journeys within the game. Many of the students present had progressed from the week’s previous delivery of Level 2 – Workshop series 1-4 which was enjoyed by 68 FRF Students. Andrei Neacșu the Project Manager at the RFR was very pleased with the outcome.

The students loved the course especially the live classroom atmosphere as everyone took valuable information and key points away from the seminar. An extra bonus for the students to practice their newly learnt skills, was that the IPSO team lined up three live games involving the three top teams in Bucharest in FC Rapid Bucharest, Steaua Bucharest and Dinamo Bucharest. Vlad Munteanu the National Teams Operational Manager was very happy with the process and development with IPSO.

At the end of the week with reflection and feedback everyone was very pleased with the overall impact of the event that helped coaches take their observations to the next level. The IPSO team will certainly be back in Bucharest with the FRF in the not so distant future, hopefully delivering the Level 4 – First Team Scouting and many other products so keep your eyes on the website and social media pages for more information.
