Professional footballer Granddi Ngoyi was the surprise star on show at the latest edition of the Level 1 course in Portugal.
Granddi N’Goyi Majundu was born on the 17 May 1988 and is a Congolese footballer. He is a former France under-21 international, and also received a call up to the DR Congo national side. Granddi was a ball winning central midfielder who did appear as a centre-back occasionally. He had a fantastic playing career that boasts clubs such as Paris St Germain, Nantes, Leeds United and Palermo of Italy.
He began his career as a youth player for Paris Saint-Germain. In 2007, he progressed to the first-team of PSG. Granddi played 7 first team games for the Ligue 1 club in his first season. He mainly played back up to Claude Makélélé and Jérémy Clément in the defensive midfielder positions. He eventually made 24 appearances for the French giants.
Even though being of Congolese parents, Granddi represented the land of his birth, France at the UEFA European Under-19 Championship.
He left the course with the message ‘’I’ll be back’’on Level 2.
