TID – Scouting and Analysis Course (professionally analysing young players from the age of 6-16)

About THE COURSE: The course is a look in how to analyse young players in their development from the ages of 6-16, it is developed by Premier League Scouts and Heads of Recruitment touching on all aspects of looking at a player professionally. The course is for young coaches learning the game, grass roots managers wanting to improve their team, for parents wanting to help their young son or daughter develop. It is also useful for university and college graduates, sports teachers and the average fan who wants to be more knowledgeable about football or get involved in it. The course will delve into key areas vitally important to football scouting at youth level. It will increase your ability to recognise talent accurately and quickly.

The TID Scouting and Analysis Course is endorsed by the IFBI Brussels and is the start of your education in TID of scouting & analysing young players. The course has been taken by many coaches, parents, grassroots managers and scouts to improve their thought process and knowledge when assessing young players.

THE COURSE STRUCTURE:

Course Length: 2 Days (Saturday & Sunday) Other days can be arranged.
Course Duration: 16 hours approximately
Venue: Will be shown when you click on the chosen course.
Number of attendants: minimum 10, maximum 40.
Minimum Age: 16 years

Timings: The course will start at 9 o’clock both days and finish at 4-30.

This will equip you with a firm understanding and platform to further develop your knowledge of the TID scouting & analysis process that is needed in order to operate as a football scout or an analyst within football. The course is a great stepping stone for a career within football that has been developed in line with the EPPP. There are no pre-requisites for this course.

All IPSO courses are delivered by qualified and experienced SCOUTS & ANALYSTS from the English Premier League.

  • Identifying Strengths and Weaknesses of a Player
  • The basics to assess a young player early indication of talent

Day 2:

  • Identifying potential.
  • Process of assessment.
  • Individual player reporting
  • How to see small detail’s that make a difference?
  • Investigate and develop the characteristics of a scout in all different forms.
  • Recognise high quality ethics and values on scouting and recruitment.
  • Different Talent ID programmes and systems for football
  • Creating / implementing Talent ID programmes
  • Player profiling

You will receive an IPSO certificate endorsed by the IFBI and an individual membership number. Members will be informed about the latest jobs available in football. With full recommendation and support from IPSO. You will have the ability to apply for a job and internships as a scout at a professional club, agent associations and academies at all levels.
