IPSO had a nice surprise when Ex-International footballer Mikael ‘‘Micke’’ Nilsson popped into the course held at Leicester City Football Club. Asked of his thoughts about IPSO ‘‘I am very interested in the scouting side of the game and thought IPSO would be a great place to start. I wasn’t disappointed’’ he said.
He is called “Mini” by Swedish supporters, referring to the first letters in his first and second names. He has played for Ovesholms IF and Åhus Horna in Sweden then he played for Southampton before moving to Panathinaikos then Brondby.
Mikael “Micke” Nilsson played as a midfielder and defender between 2002 and 2009 where he played 64 matches for Sweden and scored three goals.
