On the 27th and 28th of August IPSO were at Gdansk, where they held a course for the IPSO advanced Level II on scouting were attendants were taught to create a fully processed match report at the highest level.

In the Level 1 course the best part of it was devoted to the analysis of an individual player but we did announce that this is not the end of the courses, as we had level 2 coming out for attendants who would like to advance onto the next stage of the IPSO courses. These are about match reports or team assessments as some people in the game call them. IPSO gave students the opportunity to deepen their knowledge. With currently more than 500 issued certificates of completion of courses at Level 1, we are now recruiting for our advanced level – says Kamil Potrykus, managing director of IPSO.

– Here we will focus primarily on the analysis of the game and zoom in on the team’s strengths, weakness, strategies and game plan to format an Attention to Detail report on the opposition for the manager to establish his tactics in planning to beat their opponents. During the course at the advanced level, we will also present the necessary guidance to use professional software when doing set-plays or diagrams. Our offer is addressed both to people who have completed the IPSO Level 1 course or not, but it is advisable to have participated in Level 1 as this is a very advanced course that some may find difficult due to the accuracy and Attention to Detail that is needed to pass the course. Attendants failing the course have no need to worry as they will have learnt a vast amount of knowledge in regarding this subject but can retake the course on any other Level 2 course. By the end of this course and if you pass, you will be able to do a full match report for a professional football club at football league level. The course is also open to all others, who simply want to deepen their knowledge of football at the professional level – he adds. –

The course includes a total of 16 hours of class-work, eight each day. Participants will then watch a live match at the Stadium Energa home of Lechia Gdańsk with Bruk Bet Nieciecza Termalica their opponents, after which you will have to write up a match report on one of the teams- Kamil says Potrykus. Traditionally, a series of lectures will be taken by Colin Chambers, an experienced scout from England linked in the past with International and Premiership clubs. IPSO endorses the names of famous fans in Poland and around the world. The training has already participated many well-known faces in football, as well as current and former players from our country. We have already had the likes of some of the English Premier League football greats such as Steve Staunton, Colin Hendry, Kevin Gallacher and Jeffrey Kenna attending the courses.
