Many football agents are interested in IPSO scouting courses.
‘Our goal is to provide appropriate systems and procedures for effective scouting at the professional level. We introduce innovative training for current employees and future scouts, but not only for them. Following the constantly changing trends, technology development and improvement of training methods in football, we have developed our own scouting programme from which football agents also benefit,’ said Kamil Potrykus, managing director of IPSO.
During three Polish editions among the participants of the course we had several Polish managers: Ireneusz Hurwicz and his colleagues, Marek Jóźwiak of QFactor agency and Janusz Dziedzic. There were also representatives of the German management agencies.
In Trnava we will hosted people from the English Sky let Andrew agency. Their first customer was Sol Campbell, a former England stopper, who has played in Tottenham and Arsenal. Currently Sky let Andrew represents the interests of, among others, the former player for England national football team, Jermaine Pennant, Lloyd Dyer (Watford), former goalkeeper for Ghana national football team, Adam Kwaraseya (Portland Timbers) and Marvin Sordell (Burnley). They are also an agency for cyclists and cricket players.
One agent said ‘’This course is great as an agent you need the experience of good scouts to give you tips or shouts on players who we may not have seen, the experience of the scout can’t be disrespected as their knowledge is highly admired by agents’’ ‘’but imagine if you could get that knowledge and experience as an agent? This is what IPSO are trying to do and it’s helped my career enormously’’ he said.
“I would recommend the IPSO course to every agent in the world. Much can be learned, you look at the players and watch games in a different way. As all agents we are looking for good players, but this course helps to look at them a little deeper,” added Victor Alpha, the agent at Skylet Andrew football agency.
