Lee Hackett, a participant of both our courses of Level 1 and Level 2, was hired as a scout at Dagenham & Redbridge FC.Congratulations!

‘‘I have always enjoyed football since as long as I can remember. I heard about IPSO through a mutual friend and decided to go onto the IPSO course. I always wanted to be a football coach until I went on this course, It was then I changed my mind and I am now more interested in scouting and analysis.

Throughout both Level 1 and Level 2 courses I learnt a wide range of football knowledge that I never had before, such as, looking at a player from a different perspective and assessing a players attributes clearer, noticing different abilities in players that are more suited to different shapes and formations thus making your analysis and opinion more accurate. Match reporting of how a team attacks and defends. The good thing about the course is that it isn’t just for scouting, it’s also beneficial for football managers and coaches at any level. Because of IPSO I now scout for Dagenham and Redbridge 1st team.

I would like to thank the IPSO team for their time and effort in helping me become a professional scout.’’

Thanks IPSO. Lee Hackett

– This is not the first student of IPSO to attain a job after the course. So far we have managed to organise around 50 internships in Europe, and 15 of our students have been employed full-time by professional football clubs. Just recently two other former attendants have also gained jobs as scouts Michael Opiłka at Reading FC and Sean Makin at Birmingham City FC (English Championship)
